Mick Garton DSA ADI - Driver Training
The training I give will be structured and planned to suit your needs and ability. I use the latest Driving Instructor Association approved training aids and the learning programme in the DSA Drivers Record as a basis for your training.
The drivers record helps to ensure that you and I can monitor your progress and at a glance see which areas of your driving need improving. Your lessons with me will cover the following key skills required for the practical test and for safe driving:
Before you start lessons you must be 17 years of age and be in possesion of a signed UK provisional driving licence, which can be obtained from the DVLA.
You must be able to read a new style number plate (e.g: AB51 ABC) at
a distance of 20 metres. Before I take you on your first lesson I would
recommend you start looking at the following books - The Highway Code,
The Official DSA Guide to Learning To Drive and The Official DSA
Guide to Driving - The Essential Skills. There are also various DVD ROM
and CD packages availlable such as Driving Test Success All Tests 2008 Edition which is very good.
